COMM 100

Today in my Comm 100 class, we had to do impromptu speeches. We would go up to the front of the class and choose a piece of paper with a simple question on it and answer it as follows:

1. State the question

2. Answer

3. Reasons why

4. Summarize

Not too hard of a speech. Over the weekend she told us to think about potential questions and just make sure you can go through the steps. Well I only really thought about like 'if you were an animal' those kinds of ones.

So I walked up to the class and my question was:

"What animal would you want to be friends with?"

And my response was:

"What animal I want to be friends with? Well I would like to be friends with a platypus because they're endangered, so no one wants to kill them, they're poisonous, so no one wants to go near them, and they look awesome, like really cool looking. So if I was to be friends with an animal, it would be a platypus."

I thought it was creative, and it got quite a few laughs.

Just look at them, they are so cute! And dangerous! A perfect combination :)
